If you’re looking for a taste of Istanbul in Toronto, look no further than Best Istanbul Restaurant. Our recent visit to the restaurant left us feeling satisfied and content, with delicious food and attentive service.
The atmosphere was pleasant enough, despite the chilly weather outside. The warmth inside was a welcome reprieve, though the occasional draft from the door was noticeable. The staff, however, more than made up for any discomfort we may have felt. The lady who served us was lively and friendly, making us feel right at home. In fact, the service was excellent throughout our meal, from start to finish.
This wasn’t our first visit to Istanbul Kebab House, but it had been a few months since we last dined here. Nevertheless, the menu was largely unchanged, and we were pleased to see that the quality of the food was just as high as we remembered.
We ordered two chicken shish platters and a chicken shish wrap, the platters came with two bowls of fresh garden salad and sides of Cacik(yogurt sauce) and Acili Ezme(Spicy Salsa) Turkish sauces. The live cooking process took around 15 minutes, but it was well worth the wait. The chicken shish kabab was juicy and flavourful, with perfectly cooked bulgur that complemented the dish perfectly. The bread was also expertly prepared, providing a satisfying base for the meal.
My son, Ahmad, opted for the Chicken shish wrap, which he devoured with gusto. The rest of us dug into the platters, savouring every bite. The food was so delicious that we cleaned our plates and left feeling happily full.
Overall, our experience at Istanbul Kebab House was a positive one. The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant enough. If you’re looking to try some tasty Turkish cuisine in Toronto, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.
